Some of the things I love, love, love about New York. The weather for one. the winter is a little too long but spring and fall seem to last FOREVER (that's a good thing).

I also love the flora and fauna up here. So beautiful, feels like a little bit of heaven.

A freak hail storm we had, it didn't last long, but it was cool while it lasted.

There are so many deer here(one of my favorite animals). Jarrell always gets super excited when one gets close to the house, then cries after it runs away.

This one actually came into our yard, super cool.

The other morning when Jaydee was driving home from work he saw two doe and seven fawns crossing the road.

We had a simple but fun memorial day. We had a BBQ, of course, with Toshi, Prom, and kids. It was hot enough for the kids to use their water slippery thingy, three day later we were back to wearing sweaters.

The boys got to enjoy some snow before it starts to melt. Odin was afraid he was going to sink in the snow and the first few times we went out he would start panicking when ever his foot would go through the snow. Now they both love going out, and it's starting to stay in the 30's so it's warm enough for them to go out most days.

Jaydee just got to New York yesterday and the boys and I have been here for one month. I have been really busy since I got here. There is the usually stuff kids, cleaning, cooking but since moving here I have added studying to my to dos. I try to get in three hours a day of studying, of course I usually get less but that's to be expected with three little ones to care for. I booked mine and the boys tickets today. It's finally official we are moving back to New York. I'm very excited and nervous about the future, this is supposed to be our last move for a while, finally things are coming together. This is the beginning of an exciting adventure. The boys fall asleep in their beds but climb into our bed later, so we all end up sleeping together. Its very squishy, we need to get a king bed after we move.
The weather has been very warm lately so I have been taking the boys to the park.

When I found out I was pregnant with you I thought the timing couldn't be worse. We had just moved on our own, we were barely making it every month and we were already working so hard. I didn't know how we were going to manage, but we did, day by day my pregnancy progressed. I came to accept you coming into our lives, but I still wondered how we would cope once you were born. Things were challenging enough with two kids how would it be with three? Then you were born and I fell in love with you from the moment you were put my arms. I hadn't felt this way about your brothers, it had taken me while to completely fall for them, but with you it happened right away. Now I look at you and I feel so much joy and love. You are the most magical thing in my life right now, the best Christmas present I could have ever wished for. I love you so much.

Baby is finally here after 41 weeks of waiting. I'm sooo happy. The birth went well, it started around 5 am and he was born at 12 am, so about 7 hours half the time of my other two. Mom was here to help me which I am hugely thankful for (Thank you mom and everyone who made her trip here possible), and of course Jaydee was here as well.
We just picked his full name, Niall Joao Pinho. Niall is for my dad who passed away a month before I found out I was pg, it is a variant of my dads second name Neil. Joao is for Jaydee it is the Portuguese form of the name John or Juan which is Jaydees first name. Niall was born 8 lbs. 14 oz. 1 1/2 lbs. bigger then the other two boys, which makes him chubby and cute.
I'm in the hospital till Sunday, resting away from the boys for a few days Lord knows once I get home it will be hard to rest with them being so demanding, but I do miss them anyway.

The boys got a whole week of Halloween first our apartment community had a parade, then the local park had a festival, then we went down to visit their grandma for the weekend. Unfortunately the night before Halloween the boys came down with the flue and we missed out on the trick'or'treating this year, but they had a fun week anyway.

Yesterday was Odin's third birthday. It's hard to believe that he has been my baby for three years now, it seems much shorter then that. He's getting to be such a big boy, he has already started doing workbooks and reading.

We didn't do anything big for him as his party will be next week on Jelly's birthday. We went to McDonald's (his favorite place) for lunch and his cousins (Shanie and Emily) came over in the afternoon to visit. We had ice cream, sang happy birthday, and Daddy gave Odin and Jelly his presents, their first Steelers jerseys.

I would also like to say Happy belated Birthday to Stephanie(September 3rd). I couldn't have wished for a better sister-in-law. My life has been blessed knowing you, love you girl.

jalapenos and firealarms

I invited my sisters over for a BBQ yesterday and we decided to make stuffed jalapenos. I have made them before, so it didn't occur to me to wear gloves. Big mistake. I guess there is a difference between making 5 stuffed jalapenos and 20, because by the time I was done my hands were on fire. I couldn't think about anything else but the pain. I tried to join with the BBQ but I just couldn't. So I tried all kinds of home remedies to take away the burning soap, rubbing alcohol, milk, orange juice, baking soda paste nothings really worked. Finally after the third time trying the baking soda paste and letting in dry on my hand before I washed it off it finally seemed to be working slowly the pain went away and i was able to tidy the house before I went to bed. Thank God, what a relief.

Today our apartment complex is checking the fire alarms. Of course they had perfect timing. As soon as they boys were asleep, Jelly and literal just closed his eyes and dosed off, they set all the alarms in the house off, and so now the boys are up for good, and I am wishing there was a way for ME to get a nap.

Odin has gotten two new hobbies in this last month. Computer games and photography. He only plays educational games online for now(starfall.com, pbskids.org, and fisherprice). I don't mind him playing for longer periods of time as I know he is learning something.

Occasionally I will let him use my camera to take pictures, he is getting better at taking pictures but it will still be a long time before they are good enough to use, but I'll post some anyway just for fun.

He still hasn't learned to keep his finger out of the view.

The other morning the boys got up before me like usual, and since Jaydee wasn't home to make me get up I tried to get some more sleep. The door was open and I could hear them playing, they seemed happy so I slept for another 1/2 hour. Around 8:00 a.m. Jaydee got home from work. I heard him come in the door, then he says to me very calmly, "Uh, i guess the boys are throwing oatmeal all over the room!" I jumped out of bed to look and sure enough they had emptied a whole thing of oatmeal all over their bedroom. At least Jaydee isn't the type to say told you so, he didn't say anything, just took the boys to the bathroom for a little one-on-one time.

The weather wasn't too hot yesterday so I decided to try and walk to the dog park with the boys and Rhino. We almost made it there but it was too far for the boys and so we had to stop short of our goal. We had our picnic lunch in a shaded, grassy spot. I contemplated calling Jaydee to pick us up and bring us home, but we managed to walk all the way back to our apartment. Odin and Rhino would run to the shaded spots along the path and wait together for Jelly to catch up. All three of the boys were happy to be home out of the sun.

Later on some guests mentioned that Rhino had some odd bumps all over him and asked what they were. I was busy so I quickly glanced at them and said it looked like a heat rash, as He had gotten one before. After the kids were in bed I took a closer look and realised it was much worse then I realised. The spots were raised like welts, red, and very itchy. I figured it was Poison ivy as he had rubbed into the bushes a few times on our walk. I felt bad for Rhino, But he looks better today and I'm sure it will heal quickly.

Went to get our first ultrasound yesterday, Jaydee was able to be there which was nice. and We found out what our new bundle of joy is going to be...A BOY. I was very disappointed, as I had my heart set on finally getting a girl, but what can you do. So Giana Marie will have to wait, and now we are looking for boys name. We would like the second name to be Brazilian, so if anyone has a good Brazilian name let us know.

Julie and Akinas' birthdays were both on the 15th of July this month, so the boys had two birthday parties to go to last week end.
Saturday was Akinas birthday party, they had it our pool, we had swimming, cake, and we made mexican pizza, ha.
Sunday was Julies birthday at her pool. their was more cake, toys, and friends to play with. I didn't get any pics at Julies party cause I was too busy running after the boys.

There is nothing like being pregnant again with two toddlers running around to make you feel like a bad mom. On top of it you see couples with their "one child" their perfect joy as they have everything set up to enjoy their baby. Sure they have their problems, but it's so hard to enjoy your kids when you can't wait for them to go to sleep so you can crash as well to escape the agony of your stomach. I often wish I could have had that perfect timing, that I could have waited until things were just perfect before I had a baby so I could put everything into my baby and not have to worry about how to make ends meet. But alas it is not so, I love my kids and I try to be a good mom, but it can be so hard sometimes. And with another one on the way there are more and more times I want to just run away. I know things will get better, the kids will grow up and after the whirlwind as passed I know I'll be left with more regrets. How I didn't spend more time with them, how I didn't do this or that, and I will miss them. All I want to do is enjoy them, but once in a while I wish I could just.....

A sparrow has been hanging out in my fern outside for the last few weeks. I had my suspicions as to why it was there.

So yesterday I finally took it down to have a look, sure enough there was a little nest with six blue eggs inside. I am so excited, I hope the eggs hatch as the mom gets scared away often. Someone said that it's good luck, I sure hope it is.

Last week I felt sick, the flu I thought. Weird, as I never get sick, but I was. I spent the day trying to sleep and take it easy, which is hard to do when you have two little kids running around begging for attention. The next day I was still feeling bad, almost like a hangover I thought, I continued to baby my stomach and tried to stay cheerful while caring for the boys. After the third day I joked to Jaydee, maybe I'm pregnant, ha ha ha...... Which of course got me thinking, am I late??? I don't know I haven't been keeping track. There was only one thing left to do, we stoped by the pharmacy for a test. All I could think of the rest of the day was, am I, am I, AM I? We got home, Jaydee put the kids for nap. When I came out of the bathroom Jaydee couldn't read the smile on my face. Are u??

We took the kids to the dog park right near our house today before Jaydee had to work. We then decided to stop my Chick-Fil-A for lunch. The place was crowded but we managed to find a small table to eat lunch. In the middle of of our lunch Jaydee mouths to me that Odin has gone poop. (we have been potty training him and as long as we remind him he goes in the potty.) So I carry him to the bathroom expecting a disaster but there was nothing there, I put him on the toilet and he went pee, I asked him if he needed to go poop but he said no. So we finished our meal and Jaydee took the kids to play. Ten minutes later disaster struck and sure enough Odin had pooped in the play area, NOOOOOOO. I grabbed Odin and rushed him to the bathroom to clean him up leaving poor Jaydee to deal with the disaster and the gossiping, over reactions of the mothers and their kids. Jaydee was so mad, I felt really bad, as I probably should have put a diaper on Odin even though he has never made a mess like that in public. As soon as the mess was taken care of we got out of there as fast as we could, needless to say we won't be going back there ever again.
Looking on the bright side, It will make a fantastic story to tell Odin when he gets older, ha ha ha.

Rhino, Our Blue Nose Pit Bull

So we got a puppy last month, yippee. Jaydee ""surprised" us, thanks darling. He's growing fast as all puppys do and I am happy to report we are doing better with his potty training, the first weeks were "very" stressful like having another baby. The breed is a Pit Bull Terrier, I know what most people will say, "What a pit bull, don't you know he's gonna eat your kids." The truth is a pit bull is just like any other dog, they are only dangerous if untrained and encouraged to be aggressive. Which we do not intend to do. Fact-50 years ago the put bull terrier was the #1 nanny dog.

My Daddy

It's been one week since my Dad went on to his heavenly reward. I haven't said much about him in the last posts, but I'm ready now. My Dad truly was an amazing guy. He didn't have an easy life as a kid but he didn't let that drag him down. He decided he was going to try and make the world a better place, and that's what he did till the day he died. If there was one thing I will always remember as a child was that my dad ALWAYS went out of his way to give to others, to help some one, to give advice, money, what ever he could. Many times he was never thanked or appreciated for what he gave and it would sadden him, but he never stopped giving. When other kids or teens were around or in need they because like his own, he gave just as much time and love to them as he would to us, his own kids. He expected a lot of us kids, he expected us to be like Jesus, because that's what he tried to do. He definitely burnt his candle at both ends giving 110% of his life to others and for Jesus. Of course I had my times when I couldn't stand him, when I just wanted to get away from him, but what kid doesn't. I always knew that no matter what happend if I needed help he would be there for me. Now he is finally getting his reward, and i know that it is a great one, for a Great Man, My Dad.

My Dad passed away last night. He was the best father a girl could have wished for. I'll miss him. It was a bit of a shock as he was improving and we thought he was on the mend. I guess the Lord knows.

On a sadder note, anyone reading this keep my dad in your prayers he is very sick and in the hospital, we don't know what is wrong with him yet but he has been incoherent and coughing up blood for the last few days. He finally went to the hospital this morning.

Moving Again

So we are moving again, and hopefuly staying put for at least a year. We have been moving about every four months this last year. We can't wait to settle down for awhile. We are moving into a three bedroom apartment with a nice couple. Jaydee is working now and is gone most afternoons and nights. I stay home with the boys and teach them.

The boys are growing like weeds and each day is a new adventure with them. I take care of one little girl, Julie, she's a few months older than Odin. The two of them are like twins in looks and personality, they are best of friends. It's so cute, and Jarrell is the little anoying brother.

The future is as bright as the promises of God, I am happy.

You know, I take pride in being punctual. I'm rarely ever late for anything especially when it's to help others achieve their destinations. I know I tend to lack a lot of different virtues, and as a human I am probably always letting somebody down one way or another. I'll probably honestly give it fare 50/50 % of the time. Yeah, I'm all that you say I am, so taking pride in my punctuality is just my little way of possibly trying to make up for it? Or to be faithful at something? I don't know, it is what it is. I have a real "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" thing goin on in the form of my being on time. It's not just common curtsy, it's a great way of showing you care. I don't like it when others make me late, it's not the greatest feeling to have to always rely one someone else for transportation for example. But what about when I bend over backwards on a daily basis, just to lend a helping hand to the ones I love so that they can be on time only to find out once I get there that their gonna make ME late? And not just a little late, very, very late. I'm talkin bout thick, black, gunky, car oil late. It makes me feel used, it makes me feel like they never gave a God damn. And after continuously doing this, I finally realize, the reason their life is in a hole in the first place, the reason they need my help so desperately is simply because their in a habit of feeding of the curtsy of others, abusing the trust and friendship of others. These are the friendless...

I never cared much for what people thought about him. Seemed like someone always had something derogatory to say about him. And I'll be the first to admit that he probably wasn't all there at times. Would you be if you were raised where every wish came true? If you had all the money and catering to in the world from a child? I doubt it! That's why I've always gave him the benefit of the doubt, everyone deserves one. I believe that the true soul of a musician comes out in his music. It is undeniable that although he was human, and a sinner, he was indeed touched by the Lord in voice, song, and dance. So that is what I will remember him by. May you rest in peace Michael...

What We've Been Up To

Anyhow as some know we were fundrasing to go to Africa but the situation we were in didn't work out, PTL.

So we knocked on doors to find Gods will and a door opened. So we moved, again, to San Antonio, Texas.

We are now staying with Jaydee's mom, Pandita.

We've been helping her at the Juvinile Centers.

Helping hold down the home front.

Then Jaydee Got injured, playing basketball, and has been out of action for about 1 1/2 months now.

He stays home with the kids and does A LOT of driving.

Even though we are a small home there is still a lot of driving to do. Not only for those in our home but we also help drive the other guys in our family till they fix their car.

Yesterday was our first wedding anniversary. We celebrated it in a way that was romantic yet simple. After the kids were asleep we had a picnic at a near by park. Then we came home and with drinks and a movie we finished a wonderful evening. What made the whole thing really special was that the whole evening Jaydee went out of his way to do special things for me. Thank you baby, you really are one in a million.

A Little About My Boys

I've been spending a lot of time with my boys, A LOT of time, and though some times I wish I could have break most of the time I really enjoy it. Odin is soooo cute I love to just watch him and his antics sometimes as each day he come up with some new thing to mimic or try doing. And Jarrell gets cuter every day, I can't wait till he's Odins age as I know he will be just as cute and interesting. Any how a picture speaks a thousand words and a movie that much more, so here are some recent clips of the boys.

The Steel Curtain finally closed on those poor little red birds. I know, because the air smelt like Rotisserie chicken. It was probably the best game I ever seen, with both sides at the top of their game, battling it out. It's already been called one of the greatest Superbowl's in history, because of the history that was made. The Steelers broke 3 records this super bowl: one, for youngest coach to ever win a super bowl, two, for longest play in NFL history when my boy Harrison intercepted a pass at our own in-zone and ran it all the way back for a touch down, and three, for the most superbowl wins by a team, The Pittsburgh Steelers. So I guess that means we're the best in the world like.....oh yeah, Brazil's national team with 5 world cups under our belts. Feels good to be a fan of the greatest. I'm flyin high!!!!

So, it's Jaydee's day off today and i was dog tired trying to sleep in. At around 7:30 Odin woke up but Jarrell was still sleeping so I asked Jaydee to put a video on for him and give him a snack. After about ten minutes Odin wanders in plays on the bed then wanders out and I drift to sleep again. Ten minutes later I turn around there stand Odin with a bowl of Cheerios(no milk) half spilled on the bed. He smiles at me then grabs a handful and starts to feed me. I can't help but smile, "Alright I'm getting up."

We got to visit Tim, Kirsty, Timna, Phil, and Katie for a few days. We had fun and it was a nice, relaxing time. Odin and Katie hit it off and spent a lot of time playing together. Timna gave me a bunch of toys, books, and clothes from her and the other moms in her home. Thank you guys so much. I only got pic's of the kids but next time i'll get a pic of everyone.

Everyday my boys get bigger and I just know it won't be long till they are all grown up. Odin's new love is cars, he makes his car noise and drives them on any hard/flat surface he can find(all our floors are carpeted). Jarrell is really wiggly and laughs a lot now. He has started sucking his fists and coos and gurgles when he has my attention. He also stiffens his body and arches his back when he is angry(naughty boy).

So my boys are growing up so fast. Jarrell has started laughing, baby laughs are sooo cute. He cries when ever I put him down or if I leave him alone where he can't see me. He's got the same gray/blue eyes that Odin does and is losing all his hair, ha.

Odin has started talking, he says baw(ball), dis(this) when he want to know what something is, and the sounds of the letters a b c. Odin loves doing his flash cards, and putting things into holes, no pun intended. His new favorite toy is a potato head and veggie friends set. He likes going to the park and I sometimes let him walk part of the way. it's so cute to watch him as he gets distracted easily, watching bugs, playing in the leaves, or running up and down a hill.

This Christmas was a sad one for us as Sam's mother, Kim, passed away Christmas Day. She was fighting cancer and the Lord took her home to her heavenly reward where she won't suffer any more. Please pray for her family durring this difficult time.

Today is Judah Redleins birthday, I never got to meet him, but I wish I had. I'm part of his family now, and the more I hear stories of him the more I wish I had been able to know him. Being the timid soul I am I would probably be afraid he wouldn't like me and be too nervous to meet him, and then Jaydee would tell me to to stop being silly and proudly present me to his dad.
I was reading a Christmas Story today about being thankful during Christmas, it was written by someone who lost a lot and how they were feeling that loss during Christmas, just like Judah's family did five years ago. But it's about more then that its about how they not only let it make them stronger, but they learned to thank God for the tragedy, just like Judah's family has. It got me thinking about how much I have and how thankful I should be. I am ashamed to admit that lately I have been feeling sorry for myself when I really have no reason to be. My Christmas truly is Merry and a large part of that happiness is thanks to Judah when so long ago he met and married a single mom with 7 kids and took them on as his own. When he loved and cared for a young, rebellious 8 year old boy and took care of him the best he knew how. That boy is now my husband and he is the man he is today because of Judah. SO thank you Judah, and Happy Birthday.

So the holiday season is here, Thanksgivings has come and gone and now it's Christmas. This Christmas is particularly significant for me because it's my first Christmas away from my family. It was hard at first but I've passed the difficult readjusting stage. I still really miss my family, but I'm happy for the change and I'm sure they are having a wonderful Christmas. Things have been rough and we will have a scanty Christmas this year, but I'm so thankful because I know the Lord is doing it because he wants us to grow in faith. I know that he won't fail us and I'm looking forward to all that he will do for us when he knows we need it. I'm glad that we won't have much this Christmas because it has shown me that you don't need much to still have a wonderful Christmas.

Some of the things I'm thankful for this year are my wonderful family. This is my second Christmas with a family of my own, it's a wonderful feeling and one that I wouldn't trade for anything. I'm also thankful for Sam and Steph and the patience they've had with us, thanks so much guys we are so very grateful. Then of course there is my wonderful husband he's been so understanding and helpful to me in all of this. So Merry Christmas to one and all, I love and am praying for you.

So the boys are sick, all four of them have the flu. It started with Odin a few days ago, he started throwing up all night. We did not know how bad it was till Sam and Stephs boys got sick last night, poor Judah has it the worse. Even little Jarrell has it, poor baby is not nursing very much and threw up today. On a brighter note the fire is in the area is dying down, so no worries about that, :).

We started potty training Odin, he still hasn't completely gotten the point, but Jaydee says he's starting to understand. We go through at least 10 pair of underpants a day, but I figure if I use a diaper I'll just be lazy and not put him on the potty.

Don't know if you been watchin the news, but there's a fire raping south California. We been keepin track of this fire since about 2 days ago, and only now that it's only about 5 miles away from us that we are actually starting "to feel burn" if you will, or "smell the smoke" if you will.

Sam and I were supposed to watch a movie with the wives last night. I was looking forward to it, but got my hopes of relaxing shattered once they turned on the news where scene of the fire began intimidating all of us. After about 20 minutes of that, being that it was already late-ish, I said, "fine, if i'm gonna sit here and not watch a movie while watchin the news, I might as will have a beer in my hand. So I opened the door with a gleam in my eye that everyone saw. They asked, "where are you goin Jaydee"? and I said..... "to get some beer". Of course none of them believed me, but I was sincere in my motive. What they think? that I was gonna go try and chase down the fire? ha, fools! Sam seeing that there was no point in sitting there and lookin at what could clearly be our fate decided to come with me.

So we were about to pull over to the liquor store when we looked under the bridge, past hwy 10, when we saw the fire in the distance. It was a magnificent sight and the thought of beer vanished from both of our minds. It's funny how plans changed from a innocent beer run, to chasing what we both already subconsciously wanted to chase in the first place.

So we started off by taking the 71 south towards Chino Hills which is there the fire was having its dinner at the time. we figured that since the world around us was evacuating all hwys would be traffic jammed. But to our joy, we discovered that it was in fact a "ghost town".

So we continued our quest for adventure along side 2 dudes on motorcycles who were also looking for adventure. After searching for the perfect view for about 45 minutes and seeing that every neighborhood in Chino Hills was blocked off by fire trucks and cops, and feeling that we were so close since the fire was right over the hill we were driving along side, we said "forget this", parked the car, waited for traffic to clear and began running up this hill or should i say "mountain".

Sam and I were doin good until I looked down and saw how high up I was. Just then my all but forgotten fear of heights kicked in and we had to call it a night. But before doing it we agreed to wait it out; maybe, just maybe the fire would make its way towards us eventually. After all, the hill we were on was covered in nothing but dry grass and a beautiful orange glow of the flames right above us on the on the other side of the fire.

With scrapes and scratches, Sam and I finally drove back home to our wives. There will be another day for adventure, though I feel like a coward for ending our search when we were so close....................

in other news, please pray for us, as the fire is heading in our general direction. The winds haven't really been helping out either. Just pray for our protection that that we won't have to evacuate. one love

Family Day

This week we had our very first "Family Day". We joined Sam and Steph and their boys, which made it all that much more fun since the more little boys you have the merrier.

First it was out for lunch at a genuine Chinese restaurant.

Next we took the kids to the park, then up the hill on a little hike.

Finally we took the boys to see Madagascar II.

Well, Haven't heard from you in a while; I guess that means you're doin ok. I'm here in Cali and I'm overdosing on Sam. Funny thing is though; with all the laughter and the foolishness, there is always somfin in the back of our minds that knowS it could get even funnier and foolisher, that it's just a matter of that peace of the puzzle being set in its place, which is clearly you. But then again, why take you away from whatever it is that you're doing? The lack of comunication obviously means you are doing good and/or busy which is always good. Educators Seminar

Well the Educators Seminar is finished and I'm at my brother Tim's house resting up and waiting for my next and final trip...for now. The Seminar was as good as I hoped it would be. I feel like I'm still I long way off from being a good teacher, but I'm glad that this Seminar taught me so much and that I'm now more determined to become a better more well trained teacher. I just want to say a big thank you to the Activated homes, they sacrificed so much to pull this Seminar together and I and everyone else who attend are deeply grateful and thankful.

Jarrell slept through most of the classes which I'm thankful for.

I spent a lot of time with "the girls" going around town, hanging out, eating, getting cheated, etc. This "nice" Mexican man offered to let us use his stuff for free to take a picture, after we finished he mentioned his tip. Then we had a wonderful adventure with a not so cheep, cheep lunch. The girls know what I'm talking about, ha ha ha.

On the last day got to go to a winery. It was very interesting although I couldn't hear what the tour guide was saying.

I got to see little Katie, Phil, and Timna while I was there. It was nice to see them again.

As exciting and as wonderful a learning experience this Seminar was, I still really missed my Jaydee.

Comin from both the left side and the right side, James Harrison and LaMarr Woodley are in competition with each other to see who can lead the "Steel Boys" with the most sacks. It's a game to them, a painful one if you a QB, but it's one that has us leading the NFL with 25 sack's in week 7. After destroying the Ravens #1 ranked D, it's a wonder our D's only ranked #2. But hey, things will change once the duo goes head hunting for lil Eli manning next week, or who I like to call "Pinocchio, The Little Wooden Boy". And yes, since He won the Superbowl last year, he's been delusional, thinkin he's a real boy. But we all know that Harrison and Woodley's gonna remind him that he is still just a wooden little boy.

Within the last several months we been workin to upgrade our heating system as well as downgrading our bills in the form of a....wood burnin heater oven thing.... that will supply us with hot water as well as warm up the house. So out with the old and expensive oil burnin water heater and in with the new, economical....wood burnin heater oven thing....

Beautiful... But in order to work the darn thing, we'll need wood; a lot of wood... wood to last us this whole season.

Thats a good amount of wood. But I think that wont be enough to last us the winter. Whattaya say we look for a more efficient way to do this? I mean the skys the limit. Mother nature is fulla............

Ever since I got back from the city, I’ve been with Odin 24-7. We do everything together; though I’ve noticed a minus on the hours he’s been sleeping at night, hence making me sleep the same hours. Terri warned me of his new habit of wakin up at 6 in the morning. I just never expected him to start waking up at 5 every morning. I’d like to think it’s because Terri’s gone, or maybe it’s because I’m back. I don’t know, but whatever it is, it got him extra emotional and clingy. So I have been waking up at 5 am for the last three days in a huge empty bed. It started to take its toll on me this afternoon, so I asked to take a nap from 2-3. So I put Odin in his crib, laid down on the bed next to him and went straight to sleep. 2 turned to 3, 3 turned to 4, and 4 turned to 5. I being a weak sleeper would get up every 20-30 minutes or so to check out the clock, I coulda sworn the clock said 3 for some reason. Whats better, is that the little guy slept the entire time too….which has made for a not so moody fella; I guess we’ll see how long he holds up. I guess he’ll be goin to sleep late tonight….

This man may seem crazy but it's just and extreme case of the things people will do when going through a divorce. Which got me thinking how in the Family when people get separated it may be hurtful and difficult but at least things get worked out in love and council with our shepherds and crazy things like this don't happen. PHNOM PENH, Cambodia - A couple in rural Cambodia has terminated their 18-year marriage with a divorce settlement that entailed sawing in two the wooden house they once shared, villagers said Friday. The husband, 42-year-old Moeun Sarim, has taken away with him all the bits and pieces of his half a house, said his 35-year-old wife, Vat Navy.

"Very strange, but this is what my husband wanted," she said by phone from a village about 62 miles east of Cambodia's capital, Phnom Penh. She said they ended their marriage last month.

"He brought his relatives and used saws to cut the house in half," she said, adding that she now owns the other half that is still standing. The house is made from wood with a tile roof and propped up on wooden pillars, a typical style for a Cambodian country home.

She said her estranged husband and his relatives, after ripping apart half of the house, carried all the debris to his parents' house nearby.

She said the divorce was prompted by her husband's jealousy about her alleged relationship with a policeman in the village. She denied having an extramarital affair.

"He wanted a divorce, and I said, `Let's divorce,'" she said.

The husband could not be reached for comment.

Bou Bout, a village chief, said local officials and police were present as witnesses the day the couple split their 20-by-24 1/2 foot house into half.

"Local officials tried three times to get them to mend their differences, but the husband would not budge," Bou Bout said by phone.

When I was in the hospital Jaydee called and asked me how the baby was doing. I told him that he was an angel and that he never cried, that was when he was three days old. Now he's three weeks old and still an angel until about 7:30 to 11:00 at night, around that time he decides he's been good enough and that it's time to cry and cry untill he falls asleep. So now I spend my evenings trying everything I can to make him stop crying and keep him happy :).Hopeful this is just a stage he's going through and it won't last long.
Good news is, I'm almost finished packing.

For those of you who don't know, Terri, the boy's and I are movin to Cali to focus on makin the money we need to eventually go to the field. Yup, it's been somfin that we been plannin for a while now. These past few months have been crazy, and so much is still needin to be done. Right now we are takin the first steps needed to begin our move. And for starters, that means I'm a have to temporarily let go of two of my babies; Terri and Jarrell. Terri is goin to the teachers seminar in Cali with Jarrell. And since I'm a stay back with Odin to do some extra hustlin, that means I wont see'm for over 3 weeks. So we've been sayin our good byes. I miss'm already and I ain't even out of the room yet. But you gotta do what ya gotta do, and thats what I'm about to do, cuz I gotta.

Sleep Baby

I'm putting the boys to bed, both of them. Odin is sleeping like an angel but my little one is not cooperating.
Jaydee, the wonderful man that he is, has made my life so much easier by teaching Odin to sleep by himself in his crib. At first it made life difficult because he cried and threw a fit every time he went to sleep, especialy when I had to put him to sleep which made me feel like a horrible mother. But all of Jaydees hard work and sterness payed off and now all I have to do is lay Odin in his crib and give him his bottle and he goes right to sleep. It makes things so much easier for me, with two babies to care for and Jaydee gone most of the time. So thank you Jaydee, and thank you for getting up at night with Odin so I can sleep, you have no idea how much I appreciate it.

Daddy came and picked me and Jarrell up from the hospital today. It was a a very nice little hospital and we got to stay in the birthing suite which was like a hotel room, so it was a very comfy, but I'm glad to be home. Odin was happy to see me and seemed to like the new baby, he kept trying to touch it, then kiss it, then eat it, ha. He was curious about the new "toy" until I started nursing Jarrell, this got Odin upset and he tried to take back "his" boob, when I didn't let him he seemed very confused and upset. Daddy took him and he seemed to get over it though he was still very confused about what was going on. Anyhow we are both very healthy and everything went smoothly so we are all very thankful. We have Joan and Tracy's family visiting for a little while so things are hectic yet fun, wow what a week end.

Just a quick shot out to those Virgos in my life, their such wonderful creatures and deserve recognition. It's funny, some of the closest people to me share the zodiac of some of the farthest people from me. I know it's probably wrong of me, and probably even wronger that I'm mainly referring to the male Virgos. As much as I try, I've never been able to get along with Virgo dudes, and I can easily tell you why, but I won't. But hey! The Lord has been really workin in my life in that area. For example: My first two son's are Virgo's. So I'm in Jersey City, hittin the lights and I walked up to a tricked out Cadillac Escalade with a topless, long haired, white dude, with a Jesus Tattoo on is left shoulder. I thought to myself, "he seems famous", naw, "His probably just some stripper. Anyways, not caring to ask, and without giving him special treatment, I did my thing. He threw in 7 dollars. I'm assuming he might have been a little annoyed with the fact I didn't recognize him, so to make himself known, He threw in his card as well. once the light turned green I was like.... I think I just seen New Yorks Naked Cowboy. looked at the card, "yup, it was him". anyways..I guess he of all people should know the struggle.

So, Jaydee is gone again. It's hard, of course, having him gone, but I am very thankful that we were able to spend a lot of time together before he left on this trip(almost three whole weeks).
Last night those of us left at home watched a movie called, China Cry. It made me so thankful. It was about a Christian woman during the Cultural Revolution in China, and the persecution she received. Yet she stayed strong in her faith and the Lord delivered her and her family. Almost the whole movie she was pregnant and she had to go through so much during each pregnancy. During her last pregnancy she had to do hard labor all the way up till her ninth month, and she was late. Like I said it made me so thankful for how good I have it. It also convicted me that she had so much determination to do what she could to obey what the Lord told her, not only that but when ever someone told her something couldn't be done she never took no for an answer. It was so convicting, one of those people I wish I could be but don't think I can ever be.

Big Baby

The baby is getting so big, too big. He's always up in my ribs, kicking and elbowing me. I'm very tired most of the times and very cranky, poor Jaydee usually gets the brunt of it. I'm so happy there is only one month left. Then I can hold my little bundle of joy in my arms, and kiss his tiny feet.

Man, I been itching all year for Football to start up again. It's Finally here and I can't wait to see how my new Steeler rookies handle the NFL. Sack City, here we go!!!

And I expect to see the 6-1-4 ranked #1 as usual, Go Buckz!!!! Let the Defense overcome!!!! Hahahahahahaha, yeah baby!
