DMX

I grew up listening to DMX, he was one of my most influential role models of my younger years, though his influence on my life wasn't the greatest, and in fact down right destructive. I've grown spiritually as it seems he has. Now I can genuinely admire him now that he is in prison and professing Jesus and his desire to become a pastor once he's out. Prayin for you X.

Psalms 13:3-6

Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and
those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I will RAP to the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

What We've Been Up To

About 5 ft. 4 or so, ha ha ha.
And how is Jaydee hanging? Oh, long and strong as usual. Guffaw

Anyhow as some know we were fundrasing to go to Africa but the situation we were in didn't work out, PTL.

So we knocked on doors to find Gods will and a door opened. So we moved, again, to San Antonio, Texas.

We are now staying with Jaydee's mom, Pandita.

We've been helping her at the Juvinile Centers.

Helping hold down the home front.

Then Jaydee Got injured, playing basketball, and has been out of action for about 1 1/2 months now.

He stays home with the kids and does A LOT of driving.

Even though we are a small home there is still a lot of driving to do. Not only for those in our home but we also help drive the other guys in our family till they fix their car.

A Break Through

The key here is to understand the principle of letting go--not letting go of the victory or of the person or situation you're trying to help, but letting go of the instinct, born of pride, that you have to be the one to do something to change things. The key to rising above and proving that nothing is impossible is in coming to a realization that‚ yes, in the natural it is impossible. It can't be done. It can't change. There are insurmountable obstacles, realistic, reasonable reasons why nothing should improve or change, and why things will always be the way they are. Yet, in spite of all that, there is hope and faith for change, because through Me you can rise above.

Hey There

Just in case anyone was wondering we have not fallen off the face of the planet, although we have felt like we have at times, ha ha.
