O Christmas Tree
My Dad, me, and my two sisters arrived back in the States early December we had barely anything, but we did have a Christmas tree. Mom wasn't there to decorate the tree, I expected Joan to do it but I guess she saw how much I wanted to so she put me in charge. With hardly anything to decorate it, we bought some poinsettias form the dollar store and went with a "nature tree". I actually really liked the way it turned out.
Christmas 2004
Over the year we had collected more decorations from garage sales and we had a lot more that year. I began to find out my "style" of tree decorating. No colored lights, no tinsel garlands.
Not wanting a repeat of the year before I tried to go for a more colorful tree I made little red and gold presents to hang on the tree and went with a red and gold tree. The actual tree that year was really pretty with a very blue tint. I decorated the tree the night before i went on the road for our big Christmas push, ahh memories.

Takin A Bit Out The Big Apple
10 days... 10 days is how long I'm gonna be away from Terri and Odin. I left them up state so I can hit the city hard for Christmas push. I miss them already, and yes; they are my reason for goin back to the country every week. And this time it looks like I'll be stayin in the city Overtime...
I miss you guys...
I got me 6 souls today... hope I'll be able to get some more tomorrow. I don't know why there isn't more Family here. Is it the weather? The expense of living here? The smog? Sure, these sound like logical reasons for not wanting to start a home here, I just hope the "Cold hearted people" ain't the reason; because that'd just be stupid. Or even the fact that it don't get more "Babylon The Whore" then this, isn't in my book a good reason.
Wanna know my opinion on the difference between these people and lets sayyyyy, the people in Cali?
One of the main things thats stands out to me the most is the fact that New Yorkers ain't fake, They are very genuine people. For example, you don't see them tryin a copy the latest Hollywood star...you know why? Because each and every living person here believes in his heart that HE is the next star....or that Hollywood simply stole his style.
Sure they can be mean, sure they can come across cold, but let me tell you somfin. It's not that their mean, it's not that their cold; It's that there honest. Their straight forward people who's gonna tell ya what they think. There ain't fake smiles here, theres no "oh I'm sorry, I give to my church". There is simple Yes or No's... for me personally, this makes life easier.
My Dad was Born and raised in Long Island, NY... people that knew him knew that he was rough around the the edges. A lot of them didn't even like him or the fact that he was so straight forward. From my experience New yorkers tend to give you hell if they don't trust you. But if you truly believe in the work you are doing for the Lord and say it with Honest conviction, they will sense it, and you will win over a loyal friend. But if you're shady, and fall quickly under their seemingly cold outward appearance, then thats all you'll get from them.
Ha, it's funny.... Once this feisty 80 somfin year old New yorker lady drove up to me and said fearlessly. "I don't believe you; I think you are going to take my money and use it for drugs". I pretended to be shocked at what she said and told her with a stern voice, "Whoa, Lady... I'm a missionary for Jesus, Not a liar"! She looked at me, nodded her head and said..."Oh, good; here you go sonny"; and gave me 4 bucks...haha. See thats the trick...... They only pretend to be tough when their just simply lookin for answers like everyone else.
So if The Lord ever called me to stay in the states, guess where I'd be? My heart goes out to these people... As screwed over by the devil this city is, there are still precious people here who are still looking for someone who has answers.
(I know you're Smiling down on me Dad, miss ya)

Another ThanxLiving
With so much to be thankful for, it’s hard to go in order and put them all into words. It is much easier for me to thank him for his blessings when I am reminded of them, kind of a “spare of the moment” type thing, which is fine with me, and I believe he listens and knows my heart. But since there is in fact so much to thank him for, so much that even my mind, my mouth, or even my typing and spelling can’t do it justice; I will go ahead and thank him for my most recent blessings, the ones that have had the greatest impact on my life… Thank you for your love, Jesus!
Anyhow, I know you all are probably doin what everyone else in my home does when I post pic's of the lil man. but you all needa see some of these; the faces he makes around a table full of thanks giving food is pretty funny. So go ahead, call me a "Doting Father", see if I care! as long as he's this cute, thats exactly what I'll be... hehe
Happy ThanxLiving, Ya'll

My Mama'z Visit
It was the first time I seen her in years. Someone who ain't seen their mother in several years would probably notice any aging features, but I have to admit from the way she'd smile while holdin Odin in her arms, you'd think she was in her mid-twenties. It was good having her, hope she comes back to New York City sometimes, so I could show off my skills in gettin around through public trans. Tx Mama, I love ya.... As for your cookin, what can I say? You Still Got It!
