Just reread the GN "Jesus Is Enough", and it had me thinking.Throughout everything I’ve faced over the years, I have come to find that it all was for a reason. It’s been hard, no doubt; but it’s been so necessary in order to fulfill my purpose as one of his chosen. And though I know there is still a road full of hard times that are yet to show themselves, I take great comfort in knowing that I am now knowledgeable of how to benefit from these hard times. Sure I don’t expect to pass these tests with ease, but I have embraced the truth that even seemingly excruciating pain is only but a mindset that can be overcome by total surrender of what I am afraid to lose. After all, what better hands to trust them with, then the hands of Jesus. So now I’ll walk lighter, with the knowledge that all will be well. Now I’ll speak kinder in knowing I can lose what I love with a simple question so lovingly asked. And when that faithful moment comes when he will ask it of me, I will shed my tears, but only for the moments before I realize that the object of my love is surely in better hands.
Through these times of spiritual growth, I have been blessed to experience bitter sweet pain in many forms. But since I’m now of the understanding that I will be made stronger by them, I no longer dread change or pain, but I embrace it. I now reach out to it because I know that Jesus will be right there to replace what I have lost. I desire to be close to him, and I love the pain if it will make me yet even closer.
After all, nothing really matters when Jesus is enough… (Jaydee)

Terri's Belly... (7 months and counting)
Times goin so fast, it's hard to believe that she's due in a month and a half already, but it's true and I can't wait to hold the baby in my arms. I'm in love with it already... forget love at first sight, I've loved this baby since I first knew there was somfin in the there (Like a bean or a sleeping fetus or somfin), and I ain't even seen it yet. All I can do is wait and pray for a healthy birth. I think I've already devloped a relationship with my unborn child actually. Last night while I was sleepin, I had my arms around Terri with my hand on the belly, and the baby hit me hard enough to where it woke me up. I love it when the baby swims around in there, it's really somfin special. So it woke me up and I couldn't go back to sleep, insted I stayed up with a playful baby. I am thinkin we was playin a little game of tag or somfin, because he'd press up hard against my hand and allow me to rub him, then he'd swim off, and then come back to get rubed again. It was so cool, I could have stayed up all night playin with him. Actually, "Yawn"...I think I did...........oh ho, ...I...I think Terri did too....................

The Challenge of American Christianity
An insightful quote by a former president of the Methodist Church of South Africa, Peter Storey:
American preachers have a task more difficult, perhaps, than those faced by us under South Africa's apartheid, or Christians under Communism.
We had obvious evils to engage; you have to unwrap your culture from years of red, white and blue myth.
You have to expose, and confront, the great disconnect between the kindness, compassion and caring of most American people, and the ruthless way American power is experienced, directly and indirectly, by the poor of the earth.
You have to help good people see how they have let their institutions do their sinning for them. This is not easy among people who really believe that their country does nothing but good, but it is necessary, not only for their future, but for us all.

Happy Birthday Jaydee
Just Another Day Of The Week
Did ya’ll know that there have been a number of events known as "Black Fridays" in history? Usually, these events are devastating. Some historians propose that the origin of the "Black Friday" was the simultaneous arrest of hundreds of Knights Templar’s on October 13, 1307 (Friday), to be later tortured into "admitting" heresy. Today, the concept of Friday the 13th has been extended through the 'black Friday' concept to incorporate anything really bad that happens on a Friday. In history there have been a number of events that happened on a Friday and are known as Black Friday. Now, I hate to dwell on dark pasts, but I figure, if you believe in the bible, then you should already know that it’s only gonna get darker from here. These are just a few incidents that’s happened on a Friday the 13th and has been marked in time as “Black Friday’s”.
Black Friday (1869), a financial crisis in the United States.
Black Friday (1889), the day of the Johnstown Flood.
Black Friday (1910), WSPU took militant action when the Conciliation Bill failed.
Black Friday (1919), a riot in Glasgow stemming from industrial unrest.
Black Friday (1921), day on which British dockers' and railwaymen's union leaders announced their decision not to call for strike action against wage reductions for miners.
Black Friday (1929), a stock market crash in the United States.
Black Friday (1939), a day of devastating fires in Australia.
Black Friday (1945), largest air battle over Norway, over Sunnfjord.
Hollywood Black Friday (1945), the day the six-month-old Confederation of Studio Unions (CSU) strike boiled over into a bloody riot at the Warner Bros. studios leading to the eventual breakup of the CSU.
Black Friday (1978), a massacre of protesters in Iran.
Black Friday (1982), known in Britain after Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands, sparking the Falklands War.
Black Friday (1987), the day an hour-long F4 category tornado ran through the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Black Friday (2004), a crackdown on a peaceful protest in the capital city of Maldives, Malé.
Black Friday, a name used for any Friday which falls on the 13th of a month.
Black Friday, the Friday preceding Easter, also known as Good Friday or God Friday.
Black Friday (shopping), the day after Thanksgiving Day in the United States, the first shopping day of the Christmas season and one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
"Black Friday" is the name given to the last Friday before Christmas in the United Kingdom. It is a day when widespread anti-social behaviour due to public alcohol consumption is expected to occur, and police are given additional powers to combat it.
"Black Friday", the nickname for game 3 of the 1977 NLCS baseball championships. Philadelphia Phillies fans gave the nickname because the Phillies blew an early lead against the Los Angeles Dodgers and a controversial call was made during the game.
And finally…
"Black Friday", July 13th, 1984 on a full moon. The day Mother gave birthday to me before doctors pronounced me dead. But due to her faith, the Lord was in control… obviously…
Me personally have never had anything bad happen to me on this day. Could it be that I am the Lords and know that he wouldn't allow jack to happen to me? I think, that if you acknowledge this day as "Black Friday", hence believing that something bad is gonna happen on this day, then it just might. The devil thrives off fear, he lurks any place where he smells it. Fear is almost like opening the door to the devil. Since that faithful day, whoever that idiot was to mark this day as a day of bad luck, made this day famous and in so doing, many people have been victoms this day. It's clearly a day where peoples faith gets weakened... what a stupid day... It's all in your head... hahahaha

The Family's Pledge Of Love... (My Pledge)
We, the children of David, take a stand this day. As we rally together, let His banner over us be love. Standing arm in arm and shoulder to shoulder, we commit ourselves to love. By the grace of God and with all Heaven's power behind us, we choose to shed the weights and the sins that attempt to hold us down. This day, standing on the Word of God and in the power of prayer‚ we rededicate our lives to love one another as Jesus loves us. We are determined to fight the Enemy of love with all our might, and by the white-hot power of the Spirit of God, to overcome our weaknesses, our compromises, and all roadblocks to unity. With the help of Jesus our King‚ we take a stand to shed the weights of disunity, jealousy and selfish living; of discord and bitterness, criticalness and self-righteousness; of unwillingness to forgive, of compromise, indifference, lack of communication, and all stumbling blocks that cross our paths.Today we avail ourselves of the refreshing, renewing power of Heaven! With sword in hand we answer the call to greater commitment, greater dedication, greater understanding and compassion for those in need, greater hunger for the Word of truth, greater yieldedness to wise counsel, greater vigilance in prayer, and greater love.On this we stand firm. By the grace of God we can do no other. United we march on in faith, believing, as we pledge from this day forward to no longer merely preach the message but to live our love. With our eyes firmly fixed on Heaven, we are determined in our hearts to overcome as we rest our cause on His Holy Word.In the Name of Jesus‚ and by His saving grace‚ we make this pledge‚ as we call on our loving Lord to fill us, strengthen us‚ renew us, empower us‚ and set our hearts ablaze this day with His unfailing power of love!

Happy Birthday Terri!!!
Ah, July the 4Th..... It's a rainy July the 4Th. I love the rain... The rain has always been able to make me sleep better. It's always been able to get me closer to Jesus, there's nothing like the rain. It's a wonderful time of year up here in New york, not too hot, not too cold; just perfect. July the forth has always meant for me "fireworks", noise and watchin idiots wave their flags; but mainly fireworks. I love fireworks! It's always been the reason I enjoy this day, though instead of fireworks, I get rain. I'd rather have rain over fireworks any day... seriously. but today is a special 4Th of July. I ain't tryin a talk about Fireworks! The only good memories I have with them anyways, is of my Dad back in the day when he used to collect'm for years and every once in a while for a treat for us kids, he'd lett'm rip. didn't matter if it was in broad day light. He'd do it at random times, forget the 4Th, we had'm all year long. It was funny, he never seemed to run out of them. But now that he is in heaven and I am a man (or at least tryin a be), I have had no more reason to enjoy this day... Till I met Terri. You see, I don't wanna talk about the flag, or what this day rep's. I'd hate to waits a post on patriotism because I ain't as amused as they are by the beauty of "explosions" in the sky. My Pap's used to shoot'm out just to entertain us when we was kids. we didn't care for the meaning... still don't... won't ever.... This day has a new meaning for me now, and it sure means allot more to me. It's the Birthday of Terri, she is 20 today... Everyone needs to drop their fireworks and wish Terri a Happy Birthday. Since Dad's death, I finally have a reason to celebrate somfin on the 4Th of July. I am grateful for the fondest memories he gave me while he was on earth. fireworks are indeed beautiful and they will always remind me of him, but I have grown out of the thrill of them and have found joy in celebrating Terri's Birthday instead. I love ya , Girl...I pray the year will bring more then just happiness. The only fireworks I'll ever be happy seein, are the ones in your eyes when you look at me.... I can almost hear'm goin off...lol. but seriously, with Mother hood comin in a few months, this year promises to open another chapter in your life; one that I pray to God will keep mentioning me. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to not only me, but to Jesus and to this Home. Thank you for all you do. I only wish I can repay all you've done... allow me to try, would ya? Sleep with the Angels, Birthday Girl....xxx
