THE CORE

The Core started September 4th, Odin was born September 5th. I'm sure there is some significance in that. I must admit that every time I see pictures of the Core I feel a little sad and wonder why the Lord timed it the way he did. I'm sure he has a good reason even though I'm at a loss to what it could be. I wish I could be there now, I wish I could show off my baby to all my friends there, I wish I could be getting the training they are, I wish I could be hanging out with them.
While going through the online XD course one thing I learned was that the Lord has a plan for each of us and the things we go through are all in preparation for the jobs he has for us. So I guess that the Lord knew that what was best for them was to go to this camp and get the shepherding, classes, and training. While his plan for me was to be stuck in my room recovering from a birth and spending a lot of time with Him, that was the training he wanted for Me. So I guess this is turning into a praise. Thank you Lord for giving me my baby when you did, thank you for timing it so I missed the Core, and thank you for all the extra time I've been able to spend with you.
Here is a link to a blog with pic's of the Core in the Puerto Rico.

A Little About His Name

So, we call him Odin but his name is Cadell Odin. Why do we call him Odin instead of Cadell? Because, Cadell being a little longer people will want to shorten it and give him a nickname, like Cad, Cade, or Dell, and we don't lake any of those nick names, so we call him Odin. Jaydee challenges anyone to find a catchy nickname that is shorter then Odin.

Now that I have explained ourselves on to the meaning.

Cadell is Welsh and means-"battle or battler"

Odin-The boy's name Odin is of Old Norse origin. Odin was the chief god of Norse mythology, identified with art and culture, wisdom, poetry, prophecy and magic. His name is related to óðr, meaning "excitation," "fury" or "poetry." Other meanings of the name are inspiration, divine creative inspiration, soulful, wealthy defender, and ruler.

So, as you can see, our little angel is going to be a force to be reckoned with come the End Time.

And here are some pictures of the Odin, as a boxer, hee hee. Forget the Italian Stallion! Jaydee calls him the Brazilian Million!

My Beautiful Sister

This is in honor of my sister, because I miss her. We were supposed to spend this one year when we are both YA's together, have fun together, get in trouble together. But, alas, she moved to Texas and I had a baby. I miss you Tania, when you get back form the OC camp you better call me.

I Can Do That!!!

Naw, but seriously, this kid is amazing, I never seen a dude dance like this in my life...

his wittle ear

I have a confession to make. I have a thing for ears. I just think they are the cutest little things. I like all kinds of ears. I like the variety of ears, I'm really not picky. I'm always marveling at the queer differences in ears. Don't worry I'm not some kinda freak that will stare at your ears and try and touch them. Although I do hate dirty ears, one of my personal pet peeves.
When my little darling was born, I thought he had the cutest little ears which are remarkably like Jaydee's. Jaydee on the other had was horrified that his ears were "deformed", you see his ear lobe sticks up a little more then normal, and Jaydee thinks that it's a mark against him because his ears were similar when he was a baby.

So.......what did my brilliant man do?

He made him a little headband to hold down his ears and try and "fix" them. and here is the result.

Few More

IT'S A BOY!!!!!... IT'S A BOY!!!!!

10 days early is perfect timing!! He's a strong puppy... was born at 6:46 pm last night and weighing a perfect 7 pounds and 3 ounces. Words can't really do what I'm feeling justice, so I'm gonna keep this short with some photos. He has my hands, my feet, my ears, and my hair. He has her eyes, her lips, and looks like her nose, though of course we won't really know till he gets older. All that to say; the parts of myself that I never really liked looks so good on him now that he's mixed with Terri. He's the perfected version of me... the Lord by no means held anything back when making him... Thank you God! Thank you Jenny, thank you Jo and Susan, for all your help, couldn't have done it without you. To you people, Tx for all of your prayers... we will keep you updated. Terri, You are such a Trooper, thank you.

She's Amazing!!!

So here we are at the mid-wifes where we wait. We took a very brave and relaxed Terri into the room where it's all gonna go down. She Started contractions at 4 am last night so we were thinking that she was only about 3 cm dilated, that is until our skillful mid-wife checked her out. Amazingly enough, she is already 7 cm, everyone is in awe about it, it looks like this is gonna be a quick one. She is so brave, so calm about it. I'm so proud of her... this is how Family females do it, system chicks ain't got it like this.
Please keep her in your prayers...

We Love You...

Baby

I'm having contractions, been having them since 4:00 a.m, it's 9:45 a.m. now. We haven't left for the midwife's yet, we're waiting to see if they change, guess we'll just see what happens. Maybe I'll have the baby today, grin.

Happy B-day Lil Sister

Well, it's my sisters birthday today... in my Family, this one is "the smart one". she is very down to earth, intelligent and has always had a very gentle way about her. I know in saying "gentle", some of you dudes are like, "Gentle, she is anything but gentle". well just cause she punches harder then you, don't mean that she's like that all the time, it just means that she was just being playful with you. so far she never slugged you fellaz out of anger, at least to my recollection; but for your own safety, i think its better to stay on her playful side just to be safe. in fact, the only dude who's ever had her visibly weak in the knees is her current and best pick, and one of my best friends, Sam drummer... but for real, she is a all around wonderful person. she is also soon to have her second kid, which means she is miles ahead of the rest of our family as alway. i only hope its as prefect a child as my nephew Judah is. anyways, Steph... through the years you have been solid, through thick and thin, you have never wavered. even at those times in life where you thought to yourself that you'd surely fall, i never had a doubt in my mind that you would stay strong, always making the right choices. and now you are reaping the fruit of your commitment to the Lord, and it's only gonna get better. Please have a happy birthday... Your Family and I love you more then you will ever know... thank you for your encouragement. you've become such a wonderful woman. please keep Sam under your strength and protection...snicker...

Week 39

Two weeks till my due date.
For all those who don't know I'm gonna have the baby at home. The midwife (Susan) has delivered my youngest brother, two of my nephews, and two of my nieces. She's really sweet and she does the delivery for free, but she does it herself and not through her clinic. (Which is why I haven't gotten an ultra sound, which is why we don't know what the baby is going to be.) She keeps things really simple which I prefer it makes me feel more comfortable. Anyhow I went to a free clinic to find out what my blood type was so I wouldn't have to take the RHoGam shot. When I went and told them what I wanted they were very surprised that I hadn't gotten any blood work done, being obviously pregnant. I found it very amusing that everyone kept looking so surprised that I was about to have a baby had done no "regular" tests and I was having the baby at home (which was the main shocker it seemed). Well they were very kind and even though they don't ussual do that there they helped me to get the blood work done that I wanted as well as some other blood work that they felt I needed.
In other news Jaydee is on the road and I miss him, sob.
Oh, and my whooping cough is doing much better, TYJ.
